Jesus, why do people think the P1 already appreciated twice its MSRP?

Hmmm... I have a penchant for End-of-an-Era stuff.
Not saying this car marks the End of an Era (that’d be Triple H vs Undertaker), and yes, I still believe in N/A V12, high-strung or not, but still.
All it needs is a gated 7-speed manual and much less electronics (I can make do with telemetry, the cool HUD, and satnav, but driver aids? Nah.) to complete the look. Oh, and maybe more lighter.

In all seriousness, the only one of the trio that I like is the 918, and that’s largely because it would make a superb grand tourer. In the same sense that tank would make an excellent winter car.

Because the F1 is over 10 times its own original MSRP and folks are hoping for the same, and only 375 P1s (pre-GTRs) were made?
At least a fair amount of folks are using their P1s, though there are also almost 4 times as many P1s as there are F1s, so who knows how their estimated value will be.
